Equine vet visits to Sutton.

Sutton is a small horse-country village just over the ACT border, about 25 minutes from central Canberra along the Federal Highway. It's one of our most-visited service areas because of the concentration of horse properties along the Sutton, Bywong, and Wamboin roads.

Routine mobile appointments — dentals, vaccinations, wellness exams, and lameness workups — fit comfortably into a Sutton trip. For pre-purchase exams we're happy to coordinate with the seller and meet at the property where the horse currently lives, which is often easier for everyone than transporting.

Most Sutton properties have good level driveways and an adequate sealed surface for trotting up — useful for lameness exams. If yours doesn't, a short stretch of quiet rural road usually works well; we'll chat about it before the visit.
